Back in Sydney

After taking Neil and Irene to the Cairns airport on Wednesday, Rose and I dropped off the motorhome and rented a car.  We then went back to Ellis Beach and spend the next three days at the cabin on the beach.  The sound of the ocean and the views were impressive.  The breeze off the ocean made it feel a little cooler even though it was 34 - 36C during the day.

Our cottage by the ocean was excellent and we wished we would have had a little more time to enjoy the very special setting

Went for a final swim in the pool on Friday night and again we had the place to ourselves.

Yes we did have a few friends visit us - the geckos -  they run fast and only come out at night so it is hard to get a good picture of them.

On Saturday morning we headed for the Carins airport and flew to Sydney.  We are now back in downtown of the big city.  After all the beautiful scenery we have seen, it was a laugh when the hotel told us we had a great view of the Park from our room - see for yourself.

We could not believe that there was another fireworks just like the first night we spent in Sydney a month ago.  This time the view was not as good as our hotel is a little further away from Darling Harbour.

Tomorrow, Sunday my role as a facilitator for the Canadian study tour starts.  We will spend all next week in Australia between Sydney and Melbourne in meetings, tours of hospitals and other health faciliities. It will be a hectic schedule from 8 to at least 5pm every day and sometime with evening dinner meetings.  It is not really hard work but sitting through all these presentations and meetings might be a little difficult after the last month of touring around with no fixed schedule.

I probably won't be updating the blog as frequentlly as I don't think my meetings would make for interesting reading.
